Gerund   VS  Infinitive .

Gerund  ;        noun or verb  + ing

eg. ski-skiing , shop - shopping, swim - swimming etc.

          I like skiing.                I like swimming.

          I like shopping.

Infinitive ;       to   +     based   verb

eg.     I like to ski.                 I like to swim.   

          I like to shop.

Remember doing     VS    Remember  to  do.

I   remember    being      a child.                                 Gerund    

I  can't  remember   to  do  what I  need  to do.         Infinitive
